About

Aylin is a class actions associate in our Toronto office, which represents plaintiffs in a variety of complex disputes. As an advocate, she is committed to increasing access to justice and holding corporations accountable for wrongdoing through the class actions mechanism. Before being called to the bar in 2021, Aylin summered and articled at Siskinds' office in Toronto.

Aylin received her J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2020. Throughout her studies, she was involved in mooting, placing as second oralist in the Warren K. Winkler Class Actions Moot in 2019 and coaching the mooting team the subsequent year. Aylin also assisted workers with injury compensation claims at Advocates for Injured Workers, a community legal aid clinic.

Before starting law school, Aylin completed her B.A. in International Relations and Peace, Conflict, and Justice studies at the University of Toronto's Munk School of Global Affairs. There, she was a passionate and engaged researcher involved in a variety of projects related to global health and institutional accountability. She is published in the journal Health Systems and Reform.

In her spare time, Aylin can be found biking along Toronto's waterfront.
