About
Madison is an associate lawyer practicing exclusively in the area of family law. Her practice encompasses all areas of family law, including property division, support issues, custody/parental decision-making, access/parenting time, divorce, adoption, surrogacy, and the negotiation of cohabitation and separation agreements, marriage contracts and other types of domestic agreements.
Madison appreciates that the breakdown of a relationship is a difficult and trying time for her clients. She is sensitive to her client’s needs and concerns. It is her goal to provide clients with practical, cost-effective advice on how best to move forward in their unique circumstances. While Madison’s priority is to help resolve issues amicably by way of negotiation, mediation and other methods of other alternative dispute resolution, she is also prepared to advocate and litigate in court on her client’s behalf in order to protect their rights and interests.
Madison was born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario and joined Siskinds as a summer student and later as an articling student. Prior to law school, Madison worked in the field of international development both internationally and domestically for nearly 7 years. During law school, Madison completed a year-long intensive placement with a specialty legal aid clinic and volunteered for the Family Law Project through Pro Bono Students Canada. In her spare time, Madison is an intrepid traveler, loves to watch films and enjoys baking delicious treats for her colleagues.
Madison is happy to have returned to her southwestern Ontario roots and works out of both Siskinds’ London and Sarnia offices.
