The SRAM class action alleges that the Defendants unlawfully conspired to fix, increase, and/or maintain prices at which SRAM or products containing SRAM were sold in Canada.

The plaintiff alleges that from at least January 1, 1998 to December 31, 2005, the defendants and their senior executives participated in illegal and secretive meetings and made agreements relating to price targets, specific price increases, market share divisions and production capacity for SRAM.

SRAM is a type of memory. SRAM is used in the motherboards of computers, cellular telephones, handheld electronic devices, and game consoles.

In order to receive settlement funds, a completed claim form had to have been submitted by June 29, 2016. This settlement has concluded and all claims have been paid.

Developments

Settlements, which resolve the litigation in its entirety, were reached with the defendants in the amount of $4.85 million and have been approved by the British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec Courts.
