About
Brendan specializes in corporate and commercial law, working primarily with private, owner-managed businesses. He draws inspiration from the business ventures of his clients and focuses on providing them with practical advice and solutions to help achieve their goals.
Brendan supports businesses at various stages, ranging from start-ups to established businesses in a wide variety of sectors. He assists clients with incorporation, corporate structuring and reorganization, business succession, financing, and corporate and commercial contracts. In addition, Brendan assists not-for-profit organizations with corporate structuring and governance matters. A significant part of Brendan’s practice involves advising clients who are buying or selling businesses, including both asset and share transactions. He has transactional experience ranging from small deals to large, sophisticated transactions.
Brendan obtained his J.D. from Western University’s Faculty of Law, where he completed the Area of Concentration in Business Law and achieved distinction for his academic performance. Prior to joining Siskinds’ Business Law Group, Brendan worked for the firm as both a summer law student and articling student.
Outside of work, Brendan keeps busy with his young family of five. He also enjoys a variety of outdoor hobbies whenever he’s not supporting his children at the baseball diamond, hockey rink or dance studio.
