Ecojustice has provided another public service: Environmental Hansard, an easy-to-use website that collects, organizes and distills federal political dialogue on the environment.Entries are searchable by date, Member of Parliament, topic or text content. The website is non-partisan and a useful tool for anyone interested in sustainability and the environment. Among other things, debates can be useful in court, to clarify what an ambiguous statute was meant to accomplish.

Thanks to William Amos and his team at the Ecojustice Environmental Law Clinic, University of Ottawa for making these debates so easily available, even if they can make discouraging reading.
