Jay Judson

Jay practices business law and technology law. He began his career at Siskinds and rejoined the firm after spending a number of years as in-house counsel at technology companies, first at an IT research and advisory business in London and then at a hardware and software company in Kitchener-Waterloo. His experience includes domestic and cross-border acquisitions of technology companies and other businesses, technology development, distribution, and licensing, privacy and anti-spam regulation, and trademark strategy and registration.

Jay works with clients across a range of industry sectors including technology, manufacturing, and services. He also has experience with franchised businesses.

Jay gained a deeper understanding of business priorities and strategy while in-house, and applies this perspective to drive favourable outcomes for clients.

He delivers clear and precise legal work and advice, tailored to clients’ business objectives.

Outside the office, Jay enjoys spending time with his family and in the great outdoors.
