A class action was commenced in which it was alleged that certain manufacturers of bulk vitamins [including vitamin A, astaxanthin, vitamin B1 (thiamin), canthaxanthin, beta carotene, vitamin E, vitamin C, vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B5 (calpan/calcium d-pantothenate/pantothenic acid), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), vitamin B9 (folic acid) , vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin pharma), and vitamin premixes] unlawfully conspired to fix prices and allocate markets for these vitamins.
