Supreme Court’s decision to allow class action proceedings against JUUL Labs and Altria Group. The statement of claim alleges that Altria conspired with JUUL in the sale of nicotine vaping devices particularly to youth with the goal “to convert them into smokers.” Daniel highlights that the decision “ensures that Canadians are able to sue all the parties that they allege have harmed them.”
