As a team, students obtain work from lawyers and are encouraged to seek out work in areas of interest. Student work is overseen by the lawyers directly. Each student is also assigned a senior mentor and a junior mentor who are available to answer questions and assist the student to integrate into the firm. Siskinds will also host appropriate activities during the summer program to help integrate the students into the firm.

Siskinds’ summer law student program runs from the end of May to mid-August (12 weeks). The London office will traditionally hire 6 to 10 summer students.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation packages are competitive with other top law firms in London.

Each student is assigned a senior mentor and a junior mentor who are available to answer questions and assist the student to integrate into the firm.
Compensation
Summer students for 2023 received a weekly salary of $750. They are not entitled to vacation days during their summer employment but do receive vacation pay equal to 4% of their total compensation. Because of the shorter term of their employment, they are not entitled to other benefits.
