About
Stefani is an associate lawyer in Siskinds’ class actions department. Based in Siskinds’ Toronto office, her practice is focused on representing plaintiffs in complex securities and consumer protection class actions, including actions arising from privacy and data breaches.
Prior to law school, Stefani obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance with distinction at Queen’s University and a Master of Music degree in piano performance with distinction at the University of Ottawa. She obtained her J.D. at Western University where she received the Dean of Law Entrance Scholarship and was an active member of the Western Law community. Stefani summered and articled at a full-service firm in downtown Toronto and worked as a lawyer at a large, international law firm prior to joining Siskinds.
At Siskinds, Stefani is part of the team prosecuting the Marriott privacy breach class action as well as the recently settled BMO and Simplii Financial data breach actions. She was also a member of the counsel team that represented the plaintiff in the Canadian Solar litigation, which resulted in a USD$13 million settlement.
