Mickenna Laurin

Mickenna is committed to providing practical, compassionate, and results-oriented legal advice tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. She believes that effective legal representation begins with understanding the person behind the legal issue. Throughout law school, Mickenna gained valuable experience assisting clients through her work at Community Legal Aid in Windsor, where she had the opportunity to support individuals facing a wide range of legal challenges. This experience strengthened her commitment to access to justice and reinforced the importance of providing clients with clear guidance during what are often stressful and uncertain times. Mickenna also served on the executive team of the Windsor Law Chapter of the Animal Justice Association, where she helped promote awareness of legal issues affecting animal welfare and encouraged student engagement in this growing area of law.

Beyond Mickenna's legal practice, she is actively involved in her community and is committed to giving back through volunteer work, particularly with local animal rescue organizations. She has a lifelong passion for animal welfare and shares her home with two rescue dogs. Outside the office, Mickenna enjoys skiing, golfing, and travelling with her husband. Having visited more than 30 countries, she values the opportunity to experience different cultures and perspectives, which has enriched both her personal outlook and her ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
