About
Jessica is an approachable and down-to-earth family law advocate, bringing these qualities to her role as your lawyer. Jessica focuses exclusively on family law matters and takes great pride in going above and beyond to provide effective advocacy. As an associate at Siskinds LLP, Jessica works with clients in all areas of family law including parenting issues, child and spousal support, contracts and agreements, and financial matters. Jessica is a fierce advocate for her clients both in a litigation setting and when resolving matters through the various dispute resolution forums, such as negotiation, mediation, and arbitration.
Jessica supports families through the trying emotions of a family breakdown while remaining focused on the legal objectives they pursue. Jessica sets realistic expectations and helps clients understand their options, which gives them a great sense of confidence and control throughout the legal process. She is well known for her compassion, competence and integrity.
Jessica developed a keen interest in family law early on in law school, which has continued throughout her legal career. During her time at Western Law, she worked as a caseworker for the family law division at Community Legal Services, where she advocated for her clients in various court matters. Jessica also volunteered with Duty Counsel at the London courthouse drafting legal documents with Pro Bono Students Canada and served on Western Law School’s Admissions Committee.
Jessica was born and raised in Sarnia before spending time in London to complete law school. Outside the office, you’ll find her exploring new hiking trails with her canine companion, Jaxx. Jessica can also be found volunteering at the local humane society, exploring the beaches in the summer and attempting to ski in the winter. She enjoys staying busy and competitively shows her horse Windamere whenever she can find the time!
