About
Jaime is a registered patent agent and has secured patent and design protection for his clients in Canada, the United States, and around the world. In addition to assisting his clients in protecting their valuable intellectual property, Jaime advises on the licensing and sale of IP assets.
Jaime obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph in 2008 and his Juris Doctorate in 2011, graduating from Western Law’s Intellectual Property, Information and Technology (IPIT) area of concentration with academic awards for overall performance and standing in intellectual property and property law.
Jaime has taught at Western Law as an Adjunct Professor, coaching Western’s team for the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot, frequently appears as a guest speaker at Western and elsewhere to discuss intellectual property issues ranging from introductory patent issues to intellectual property infringement concerns with 3-D printers.
