Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) that is facilitated by a neutral third party. Mediation can be a very cost-effective way of handling a dispute that might otherwise need to be decided through more expensive court proceedings. Acting as a facilitator, a mediator helps clarify issues, identifies differences and negotiates a resolution that works for all parties. A mediator doesn't provide legal advice or recommend the terms of an agreement. Instead, a mediator assists those in conflict to reach an agreement.

We handle a wide range of mediation issues, including matters related to business law, construction law, wills and estates, personal injury, family law, and employment and labour.

I felt really safe knowing you [Daniel Hynes] were looking after my interests. I felt like you had my back. You were very professional, kind and caring, and I was very happy with how you handled everything.  –G.A.

Siskinds is a well known law firm that delivers results! I had a challenging issue that Dagmara Wozniak met head on with creative and solution based ideas. She provided a solution in a short amount of time and I would highly recommend her! No one likes legal issues and yet they happen. If you need results ... call Siskinds. - S.F.

Siskinds was very good when I needed them! We were going through a very difficult time. Mr. [Jim] Virtue and Siskinds were very helpful. I had suffered an injury, and during the proceedings my husband was diagnosed with cancer. It was a very overwhelming period for us. Siskinds was very understanding and we were appreciative of the outcome. - S.M.
