In 2001 a settlement was reached with all of the defendants, with the exception of Chisso Corporation with respect to price fixing of sorbates, potassium sorbate and sorbic acid. In October, 2003, a settlement was reached with Chisso Corporation.

The deadline to file a claim was June 11, 2004. This settlement has concluded and all claims have been paid.
