If You Love Our Children Productions has released its second documentary on children’s health and the environment, Toxic Trespass. The film explores frightening links between pollution and childhood cancer, focusing on high rates of illness in Windsor and in the Aamjiwnaang First Nations reserve, Sarnia. It has a wide range of targets, especially pesticides, diesel exhaust, Chemical Valley, and ineffective regulators. Although much has improved in recent years, the filmmakers were profoundly unimpressed with Environment Canada and Health Canada. They hope that their frightening story will provoke better regulation and better enforcement on toxics, as well as more investigation into the causes of cancer.

The film will be available soon from http://www.womenshealthyenvironments.ca/marketplace/films.
