Zach Warkentin

Zach is an associate lawyer practicing in the real estate department at Siskinds. He joined the firm as an associate in 2026, following his litigation practice in Thunder Bay and Hamilton, Ontario.

With his roots stemming from Northern Ontario, Zach understands and appreciates the importance of community and building strong client relationships. He obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in finance, a bachelor’s degree in political science, pre-law, and a Juris Doctor all at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario. During Zach’s time at Lakehead University, he was engaged in various extracurricular activities to advance the respective faculty he was part of, including acting as the Vice President of the Lakehead University Student Finance Association, and acting as the Vice President of Mental Health and Wellness in the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law Students Society. Through his education and prior practice in civil litigation, Zach has developed a keen interest in various legal topics, and is looking to use his community and client driven approach to excel in the real estate sector in London, Ontario.

In his spare time, Zach enjoys playing golf, curling, hiking, and fishing. He is also a competitive curler who has competed at the national level, and has aspirations to represent Northern Ontario at Brier.

Zach has a keen interest in growing the sport of curling, and has been involved at the Port Arthur Curling Club in Thunder Bay, Ontario through various learn to curl events.
