- Siskinds has commenced an investigation of Manulife Financial Corporation (“Manulife”). Siskinds’ investigation relates to Manulife’s disclosures regarding the risks arising from Manulife's variable annuity guarantee and segregated funds business. On June 19, 2009, Manulife revealed that it had received an enforcement notice from staff of the Ontario Securities Commission relating to those disclosures.
