The Ontario Environmental Review Tribunal has not yet decided any appeals of environmental penalty ordersUnder the Environmental Protection Act, the Ontario Water Resources Act, or any other Ontario environmental statute. Two previous environmental penalties were appealed to the Tribunal, but both appeals were withdrawn (i.e. settled). Since December, Ontario Power Generation has filed two new appeals; the first is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on March 4.
