Chemicals in dry cleaned clothes

I was amazed, and appalled, to learn how the common, but toxic, dry cleaning solvent, perchloroethylene, can build up in clothes. Especially wool. Another good reason not to put freshly dry cleaned clothes in a bedroom… And what about wearing them?
