Cape Cod Baywatch and Pilgrim Watch residents have given notice of their intent to sue Entergy for water pollution and fish kills caused by its Massachusetts nuclear plant.
According to a letter sent to the company and federal officials, since 1996, there have been 33,253 violations of the federal Clean Water Act at the Pilgrim station. The Act provides a $25,000 civil penalty for each violation. Living on Earth has details of the intended lawsuit.
