Terratec Environmental Ltd. pled guilty to one offence under the Ontario Water Resources Act for applying anaerobic digestate to farmland, which escaped through an agricultural drain into Six Mile Creek. Checking for drains is a standard precaution before spreading anything on agricultural land.
