Conflicts of Law

Jurisdiction is key to handling disputes. Conflict of laws is a set of procedural rules that determine which jurisdictional legal system applies to a particular dispute. This can typically pertain to a contract between parties in different provinces or countries where each jurisdiction will have its own unique nuances of law.
Within Canada, bilingualism is also notable since Canadian law is rendered in both official languages.
When different jurisdictions are involved, we are able to help determine the jurisdiction best applicable before beginning an action.
