Stacey completed her LL.B. at the University of Western Ontario in 2000 and was called to the Ontario bar in February 2002. Prior to that, Stacey obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Charleston and Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor.
Stacey practices in the area of Business and Intellectual Property law. Stacey is able to navigate a client through the complexity of the legal system from the start of a business - incorporating and organizing the company and preparing shareholder agreements, through the building and operation phase - contract negotiation and drafting, to potentially the sale of the business including the necessary due diligence and drafting of purchase and sale agreements. In addition, her focus on Intellectual Property matters enables her to advise clients on privacy matters, domain name registrations and protection, registration, enforcement and protection of trade-marks and negotiating and drafting software development and license agreements.
Stacey is married with a high energy son and strong-willed twin daughters.
