Admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1988 after graduating from Queens University, Peter worked at a law firm in Paris, France before articling with a major Toronto firm. He is a registered Canadian trademark agent and was recently named to the International Who’s Who of Franchise Lawyers 2011 as well as Who’s Who of Business Lawyers 2011.
Peter was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2005.

Peter has received the following distinguished appointments:
- by the Assistant Commissioner of Securities for the State of Maryland to the Franchise and Business Opportunities Advisory Board of NASAA (the North American Securities Administrators Association) in Washington, D.C.
- by the Government of Canada to the Committee of Governmental Experts of UNIDROIT (the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law) in Rome.
Peter’s personal interests include sailing, yoga, cooking, fitness, and eating Italian Food -- in Italy.
