Michael Polvere is an associate with the Commercial Litigation group where his practice includes advising clients on the enforcement of contractual rights, shareholder and partnership disputes, creditor rights, dispute resolution and defending against claims. Michael's practice also includes libel and slander law, advocating on behalf of both media and non-media clients. Michael has assisted clients navigate through corporate and commercial litigation matters in various levels of court in Ontario as well as administrative tribunals.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario's Faculty of Law (LL.B, 2007) where he was the recipient of the Paul Bradley Award. Prior to his law degree, Michael graduated in 1999 from Western with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A., Honours) in Political Science and pursued a career in journalism covering politics. In 2004, Michael received two Ontario Newspaper Awards for his coverage of municipal affairs and environmental issues.

Michael completed his articles with Siskinds and was called to the bar in 2008.
