Marie is a partner in the Family Law Department at Siskinds in London, Ontario, and she was admitted to the Ontario bar in 1989. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with her law degree (LLB) in 1987.

Marie has practiced exclusively in family law since her call to the bar. She is a family law litigator. Her practice area includes property division, support issues, and custody and access. In addition, Marie also prepares and negotiates Marriage Contracts, Cohabitation Agreements, and Separation Agreements.

Marie is a panel lawyer for the Director of the Family Responsibility Office. She prosecutes non payors on behalf of the Director.
