A partner with Siskinds, Jim was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1963. He received his education at the University of Toronto (B.A. 1958) and Osgoode Hall (LL.B. 1961), and was appointed a Queen's Counsel in 1979.
Jim is a senior member of our General Litigation group and is recognized and highly respected throughout Ontario as a premier trial lawyer and litigation strategist.
Jim was awarded with the Middlesex Law Association’s Distinguished Service Award on November 17th, 2010 which recognized his exceptional career and contributions to the legal profession in Middlesex County and significant law-related benefit to the residents of Middlesex County.
Jim was awarded with the Law Society Medal in March 2012 which is given to lawyers in Ontario in recognition of exceptional service, whether in a particular area of practice, in the academic sphere, or in some other professional capacity.
Jim has also been named in the
Best Lawyers in Canada List since 2006 for Personal Injury Litigation, Insurance Law, and Corporate and Commercial Litigation. In 2012, Jim was also named in
