Emilie is an associate lawyer in our Class Actions Department. Her practice centres on the private enforcement of securities regulation, which promotes transparency in the capital markets and fosters evenly informed decision-making on the part of Canadian investors. Prior to law school, Emilie interned with our Securities Team and assisted with its comprehensive investigation into the stock options practices of TSX-listed companies. This research helped form the foundation for our civil prosecutorial work in relation to options back-dating.
 

Emilie obtained her J.D. from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law in 2010. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology (B.Sc., Honours) and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science at the University of Western Ontario. During her Master’s, Emilie received awards for top academic performance.
 

Emilie completed her articles with Siskinds LLP and was called to the Bar in 2011.
